James Henderson did a recce with a team at Angel/Islington/Holborn and he will do a bit more work up there to assess the right approach.

When we set out tonight it will be the start of the 2nd month of this initiative. After tonight we will have served more than 7000. A month ago most of you had never heard of Under One Sky. How that has changed…what we have achieved together is a huge expression of focus, unity and passion. I salute you all!

Last night we had to put a young man in a hostel. He had just ended up on the street and it was judged he was simply to scared and ill equipped to get through the night. Thanks to Jamie Whelan for making it happen. We are now looking at next steps.

We are receiving so much support from all sides now. I have just received 4 pallets of breakfast bars at my front door thanks to one of Jamie Whelan’s special people. Sheila Chauhan (a UOS regular) has just sourced 1500 travel size tubes of toothpaste and in addition a full pallet of toothpaste to come later. Absolutely amazing how the gifts keep flowing.

The ITV News piece which Brian Whiting too the lead on went on air yesterday – watch it here. The piece Channel 4 did should air today – will share the link when it is out.

We also had YLE (Finnish national TV out with us yesterday) and I believe BBC will be joining us today.

Last but not least thanks to the newly formed social media team for launching the UOS news letter and for being all over our social channels at this busy time.
