Sadly the numbers just keep going up. Average served per day in last 7 days is 295 (excluding Angel/Islington and breakfast distribution). The previous week it was 284 and the week before that it was 276. In other words a 7% increase in a fortnight.

Ella B gave us another example of why Under One Sky is much more than a food distribution service. She took Mig’s wish for a shower serious, got in touch with the Passage to get a time in the schedule for him. Ella just received a voice note from Mig thanking her for her efforts as he had his shower today. A great display of compassionate connection leading to positive action.

A huge shout out to the packing team who work incredibly hard to make the events run smoothly. They do an amazing job at getting all the teams set up on time, reporting back on stock count and keeping the operation tidy. They literally handle 1000s of items per week. They have just finished packing 1500 toothbrushes + toothpaste. What I am most impressed with is their willingness to put in an extra shift and how great they are a helping each other…seamless.

Kate Lister…happy birthday! Not sure what day it was but lots of birthday donations have arrived on our gofundme page to celebrate Kate. Great idea…and an inspiration the rest of us!
