Once again really smooth operating by the teams and the first day of our designated driver from Glass Door…yay!

Observations:

The main theme continues. The homeless have been promised hotel places but don’t get the call back. The frustration is growing and the trust in local councils and charities in charge of hotel scheme declining. It is really a strange and sad situation to see so many homeless people being stranded in this vacuum. And so we carry on doing our best to support them.

Special mentions

  • Maila and Carina who have donated a social media manager to help us with this initiative…we so needed that!
  • Susheel who drove from St Albans to Chelsea to deliver 200 masks. And got stopped twice by police asking why he was on the road
  • Jamie Whelan who has sorted a pallet of water and a pallet of food…pretty impressive
