|28 June 2020 – DAY 88|
|TOTAL SERVED TO DATE||29,465|
Waterloo/London Bridge is now consistently between 80-90 served. In late May to early June we used to serve 60-65 per night. That is very significant increase and once again yesterday the team reported new faces on the street.
Huge thank you to Amrit (again) for putting on a birthday for Charmaine from TSG. As always when Amrit is involved it was all done in a very generous spirit.
Yesterday a homeless friend had found a wallet who he gave to Jeff so that he could try to find owner or pass onto police. The man is from Hong Kong but has Dutch papers as well e.g. drivers licence. His name is Ho Fook, so please check if he is in your Facebook or LinkedIn networks. Last year a friend of mine found an English woman’s wallet in the Atlas mountains in Morocco and he sent me her details. We found her in a couple of hours. Maybe we can do it again 😉
We are trying to get a bicycle for a homeless friend on the Kings Cross route. He would like to start doing UberEats deliveries. If you happen to have a spare bike with his name on it or know of anyone who does then please get in touch. As you might know bikes have become costly due the Covid19 crisis.
Tomorrow we have the following spots still to fill:
Islington: 2 experienced skywalkers + 1 skywalker
Waterloo: 1 experienced skywalkers + 2 skywalkers
